At Candy Kittens, we don’t just make sweets - we obsess over them. Flavour, texture, format… it all matters. And now, we want someone to join us to help us take it to the next level.
As our Sweet Sommelier, you’ll have an exceptional palate for plant-powered gourmet sweets, with strong opinions on what makes a Candy Kittens sweet truly great.
You’ll work closely with our Candy Kittens team, contributing to flavour direction and innovation, helping us to shape future launches. You’ll also keep your finger on the pulse of what’s trending in sweets (and beyond), spotting the next big thing before it even hits shelves.
From being the first to know what’s coming next to weighing in on flavour debates that get surprisingly heated, this is a role for someone who takes sweets seriously… but not themselves.
No formal qualifications required. No CV needed. Just great taste, strong opinions, and a genuine love for Candy Kittens.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Confectionary Evaluation & Quality Control:
Lead regular tasting sessions across the Candy Kittens range - assessing flavour balance, texture, and overall eating experience. Provide clear, constructive (and occasionally passionate) feedback to help define what “Does It Better” really means.
Trend Forecasting & Direction:
Keep a constant pulse on emerging flavour trends across sweets, food, drink and wider culture. Identify what’s next before it’s obvious, and confidently back ideas that others will catch up to later.
Brand Advocacy & Taste Leadership:
Act as a true ambassador for Candy Kittens - demonstrating a deep understanding of the range and a willingness to strongly defend your favourite flavours when required.
Early Access & Confidential Drops:
Be among the first to experience unreleased products. Handle this responsibility with discretion, excitement, and an appropriate level of smugness.
Digital Awareness & ‘’Always On’’ Mindset:
Stay continuously online and culturally aware - spotting conversations, trends, and moments relevant to Candy Kittens. Know what’s dropping, what’s trending, and what people are obsessing over.
Internal Debate Participation:
Take part in discussions around flavour, texture and product direction. Share your perspective, consider others, and help settle the occasional (surprisingly passionate) sweet-related debate.
