Your Ultimate Guide to This Weekend in London

  • By Leah Crossman

This weekend temperatures are set to soar across the UK, but London is definitely the place to be. We have rounded up the hot spots that you need to check out:

From 9am-6pm the North End Road Summer Market will be full to the brim of stalls selling food, drink, antiques – everything you could imagine from around the world! Not to mention the 5 stages that will be packed with the coolest breaking bands, including Maria Moss, The Shakers and Pixi Ink to keep you entertained whilst you browse.

Or if that doesn’t take your fancy, what about House of illustration’s Summer Fair? This is definitely one for you crafty types! Over 100 stalls will pitch up at Granary Square and you can hunt through endless stalls of books, artwork and ceramics, to name a few. Doors open at 11 am so get there early- you’ll easily spend the day there.

If you want something to make your weekend last even longer, then check out the Chop X Beats Summer Party. Think West African party vibes with all the music from Afrobeat to hip-hop to RnB, and enough plantain chips to last a lifetime. Tickets are £15 and the catchy beats will be heard from 4 pm.

If the thought of a Sunday session frightens you then consider Music on the Lawn at Forty Hall Estate. Perfect for everyone with bouncy castles and croquet for kids, and a Pimms tent and live jazz music for the adults. Picture it now, chomping on a fruit kebab in the blazing sun as the sounds of saxophone bounce around the beautiful gardens of Forty Hall. Tickets are £6 and gates open at 11am.

So, whatever you get up to this weekend, be sure to make the most of this heat wave and of course, don’t forget your Candy Kittens – you’ll definitely be in need of a sugar fix!

And remember, whether you’re having a picnic in the park or site seeing across the city, we want to see where you take your Candy Kittens.
