The GET:GO 2018

Every year, at the end of March, we take a day out of the office as a team to reflect on the amazing stuff that we’ve done together over the past 12 months, and think about what we want to do over the next year.

As the company has grown from just Jamie and Ed to 16 full-time members of staff, we think it’s important to spend a bit of time together once a year and think about how we continue to make Candy Kittens one of the best confectionery brands in the world.

We believe that life is too short for boring sweets, and this year our fourth GET:GO strategy day was titled: Better is Possible. As you may be aware, over the past year, we’ve been working hard on making our gourmet sweets better than ever.

Our new gourmet sweet range is now totally gelatine free. We think these sweets are the best sweets we’ve ever made!

This year the Candy Kittens team were whisked away to Soho Farmhouse, in Oxfordshire, to experience a day of presentations, with a special guest speaker, Rory Sutherland (Vice Chairman of Ogilvy). Lots was learnt across the day, with a few fun workshops focussing on how we grow as a brand!

 

I’ve asked a couple of people in our office what they learnt at the Get:Go:

Max: Trust is really important, both as a team and as a brand.

Georgina: Dare to be trivial, it’s the little things that can be most noticeable!

Erin: The importance of 360º working

Josh: Never order wine, ever. (Thanks, Rory!)

Say Hey To: Chris Watt
