We are trying to build the plane whilst we’re flying it, but so far I think we’re doing OK.
We took the decision to close CKHQ (our offices) on 18th March 2020. Our team has been working from home since that date, and I’m pleased to say we are successfully managing “business as usual”.
For our online customers we are open and offering contact-free home delivery. Next day delivery has been temporarily paused due to our couriers not being able to guarantee this service, you will see the available options at checkout and can read more about our shipping policy here. We have set up sanitising stations throughout our warehouse, with regular hand cleaning breaks given to the team. Face masks are also available to all colleagues.
The retail sector is facing new pressure, and there will be inevitable strain on our supply chain. Our Sales and Operations team are focused on meeting these challenges and we are maintaining daily contact with our customers and suppliers to ensure everything continues to move as smoothly as possible.
I can assure you that our entire team is working around the clock to deliver the Candy Kittens experience we have worked hard to establish over the last 8 years. We are busier than ever and are aware of some delays to our service. We’re doing the best we can and I thank you for bearing with us as we hit the odd bump in the road.
