Okay everyone, it’s Tuesday and you know what that means… It’s time for a weekly update of what we’re loving here at CKHQ! Sit back and relax with a cup of tea, a bag of your favourite Candy Kittens and find out the scoop...

Emma, our Commercial Executive: I headed to Dinerama in Shoreditch this weekend which was EPIC.

Dinerama is a street food market, based in Shoreditch. Split over two levels, there are ten bars for you to explore with your friends and plenty of places for you to drink and feast in style. There’s so much to choose from with dishes inspired from all around the world. From bao buns and wood-fired pizza to kebabs and ice cream. Dinerama is all about having a good time with your friends!

Jack, our Commercial Manager: I’m LOVING Queer Eye in Japan!

If you haven’t heard of Queer Eye then you need to step into the 21st Century… Queer Eye has taken the world by storm and is one of the most popular entertainment shows on Netflix. Queer Eye has five hosts whose daily task is to transform people’s lives by making them a little easier, cleaner, healthier and happier. Recently Netflix has released a brand new series set in Tokyo where they aim to spread joy, explore the culture and help Japanese men and women find the confidence to be themselves. Why not tune in yourself? Although be warned, it’s VERY addictive!

Laura, our Supply Chain Manager: I tried out Uchi in Hackney and it was THE BEST Japanese food I’ve ever had.

Uchi is a vibrant new Japanese restaurant that’s just popped up in Hackney. They focus on making delicious authentic Japanese dishes and make all of their food fresh in-house including their noodles and sushi. Laura recommends going with a group of friends so you can sample a whole range of their tasty dishes. Laura particularly enjoyed their melt in the mouth tofu and sticky aubergine! It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy some time with your friends.

Kitty, our Social Media Executive: I’m absolutely loving the new Pip and Nut Nut Butter Cups!

It’s safe to say Kitty is never without a jar of Pip and Nut on her desk but this week’s launch of Pip and Nut’s new snack has been a game-changer! Coming in three different flavours; dark chocolate almond butter, dark chocolate peanut butter and milk chocolate peanut butter, they’re any nut butter lovers dream. If you haven’t tried them yet yourself make sure you give them a go!

Georgina, our Marketing Manager: My dreams came true this week when I finally saw Christina Aguilera The X Tour!

Georgina doesn’t shy away from a little bit of Christina, and on Sunday evening she finally saw her new UK show ‘The X Tour’ at Wembley Arena. The choreography was mind-blowing and her vocals were outstanding. We know (as a massive fan) Georgina may be a little biased but none the less, if you’re in need of a night filled with music and magic, grab yourself a ticket!

Brad, our Designer: It’s got to be David Attenborough’s new series…

No one can deny that David Attenborough’s documentaries are a crowd-pleaser. With the release of his new series Seven Worlds One Planet, I think we’re just about all tuning in at CKHQ.  Have you watched any yet?

That's it from us, we'd love to know what you're loving this week...Pop us a comment on one of our Instagram posts or send us a DM to let us know!
