THIS WEEK WE'RE LOVING...

by Maddy de Winter, 15th October 2019

So i'm sure you're all aware but every week we share what we've all been loving (apart from Candy Kittens sweets obviously). It's Tuesday so it's time for another weekly dose of "This Week We're Loving". Who knows maybe you'll discover something new!

Kitty, our Social Media Executive: Pumpkin spice bagels

You can forget Pumpkin spice lattes, the King of bagels have introduced a new winter addition to all things pumpkin spiced. What better way to celebrate the month of Halloween than with anything Pumpkin related!

New York Bakery Co. Bagels have just introduced their brand new Pumpkin Spice Bagels - spooky bagels for Halloween. Available in Asda now!

Emma C, our Commercial Executive: I'm loving Heinz tomato soup. I've had it nearly every day for the past couple of weeks and I'm not bored of it yet!

Another fabulous winter warmer for these miserable days is soup! What better way to embrace the cold wet weather than snuggling up indoors with a bowl of hot soup, and you know how the advert goes... "it has to be Heinz".

Annabelle, our Head of Operations: I went to see Joker last night, it was really really dark but amazing!

'Joker' is in Cinemas now: Before he became the Joker, Arthur Fleck was an ambitious stand-up comedian in Gotham. But failure took its toll, and eventually drove him into insanity and a life of anarchy… Joaquin Phoenix, Robert De Niro, and Zazie Beetz star in this standalone origin movie of DC Comics’ most notorious villain. With weather this bad what better excuse to head to the cinema and watch some new releases!

Ana, our Marketing Manager: Granger & Co just off Sloane Square - great for brunch! And I think there's another around Notting Hill.

The Restaurant describes itself as reflecting 'the spirit we like to think of as ‘Australian’: sunny, easy-going and generous. Bill opened his first restaurant in Sydney’s Darlinghurst in 1993. It soon became loved for its legendary breakfasts, served at the famous central communal table, where locals and travellers, families and friends, continue to be welcomed. Twenty five years later, Bill’s relaxed, friendly and infectious joy in good, fresh food has become truly global, and is enjoyed at his restaurants in Sydney, Seoul, Tokyo, Honolulu and London'. With Granger & Co locations in Chelsea, Clerkenwell, Notting Hill and King's Cross there is no reason why you can't spend your weekend brunching at one of these delicious restaurants!

Izzy, our Sales Intern: I loved the film "Judy". It's all about Judy Garland's life played by Renée Zellweger - it was such a good watch!

'Judy' is out in cinemas now: When legendary but troubled singer and actress Judy Garland lands in London ahead of a week of sell-out shows, she doesn’t waste a moment of her downtime in meeting fans, friends, and even a potential new romance. Directed by Rupert Goold, Renée Zellweger portrays the musical icon, alongside Bella Ramsey and Finn Wittrock.

Brad, our Designer: I loved Crème Cookies in Soho :cookie:

Crème is a dessert shop specialising in really big cookies, soft-serve ice cream and coffee. They were inspired by the sweet things they have enjoyed on trips to New York, their menu takes a French approach to American classics using premium ingredients and no holding back on the butter and sugar. Everything is baked, blended and brewed daily, at their shop in Soho. I mean... they look delicious!

Maddy, our Marketing Intern: I went to the Piano Works in Farringdon on Friday night and loved it! It was such a good atmosphere and it makes a change to going to your ordinary pub!

The Piano Works is a Victorian listed warehouse venue in the heart of Farringdon. They are a 400 capacity, late night, live music venue. They have 2 pianists and accompanying musicians that only play songs requested by you, the audience! They also have a location in the West End.
