This Week We're Loving...

So here at CKHQ we can't JUST be addicted to sweets so we have to find other ways to channel our sweet tooth and addictive personalities elsewhere. Here is what we're loving at CKHQ this week. 

Georgina, our Marketing Manager: "This week I’m loving Patch Plants! It was my birthday last Monday and a good friend of mine got me a beautiful Monstera (aka Cheese Plant) sent straight to my door! Here’s hoping I can keep it alive 😇".

Amy, our Marketing Executive: "Oxfam's Second Hand September has seen me giving up new clothes shopping for the whole month of September. I'd like to say I've been loving this... but I'm officially past the half way mark and it's been harder than I thought. Pray for me not to break on payday 🙏". 

Oxfam at the beginning of the month announced that every week 11 million items of clothing end up in landfill. And how throwaway fashion is putting increasing pressure on our planet and its people. Emma, our Commercial Executive: "This week I'm loving Backyard Cinema - Hayley, Amy and I went to the launch of Backyard Cinema's new venue in Wandsworth and it was so cool! It started off as an immersive experience, we then watched a short film about the history of Backyard Cinema followed by food from various different food stands and drinks at the bar. It would be a really cool place to do a social!!"

Brad, our Designer: "Last week i've been loving Power - it's addictive!" 

Power is an American crime drama television series created and produced by Courtney A. Kemp together with Curtis Jackson. In this crime drama, a successful and well-liked nightclub owner moonlights as a drug dealer to New York City's A-list users. Watch it on Netflix!

Kitty, our Social Media Executive: "I'm loving Nao's album Saturn!" 

Saturn is the second studio album by British singer-songwriter Nao, it was released last October! You can listen to the album on Spotify here!
