It's that time of the week and we are so excited to share with you what we are loving! Keep reading to find out about our festive movie night in and some amazing restaurants and markets we suggest you go and visit.

Annabelle, our Head of Operations - I visited Market Halls and it was heavenly.

At the weekend, I went to visit the new Market Halls in Oxford Street. It’s the UK’s largest food hall, so my expectations were pretty high! The venue was trendy and I knew I was in for a treat when I noticed a large luminous sign which said ‘Stairway to Heaven’! Aside from this, I really love the fact that the market supports small businesses by featuring eleven impressive, independent food traders (as well as four bars which came in handy). I chose to eat some pasta from Pastaio and it was delicious! If you’d like to check it out, I'd highly recommend it! You’ll find the market at 9 Holles Street, London, W1G 0BN.

Lucy, our Marketing Intern - I visited an epic golf course.

This week I decided to test out JunkYard Golf Club and I can safely say that I’ve never been to a place quite like it. (It was decorated with neon paint, glowing lights and pink, furry walls!)

I chose to play on the 'Dirk' golf course, which was themed around a 90’s rave... If you're thinking DJ decks, disco balls and rotating smiley faces, then you're pretty spot on.

After the game, I treated myself to a few sweet cocktails in the bar. My personal favourite being the Hotline Ting, which contained bubblegum favourited liqueur! If you have a sweet tooth like us at CKHQ, then I can guarantee that you will enjoy.

Jemma, our Ops Intern - I had a cosy night in with my family.

At this time of the year, I love to watch a classic, heart-warming Christmas film by the fire with my family. On Sunday, it was my turn to chose the movie, so of course, I selected to watch my personal favourite, The Holiday. (because who doesn’t like a good rom-com?) The film was also accompanied by a bag of microwaved popcorn and a hot chocolate with whipped cream. YUM!

Kitty, our Social Media Executive - I had the biggest vegan feast.

I was so excited to visit Picky Wops last weekend, for the opening of their brand new location in Brick Lane. If you haven’t heard, this Italian restaurant sells the BEST pizza ever! And they’re vegan, so I can eat as much as I like, totally guilt-free. What a result!
