Say Hey to Mollie!
Say Hey to Mollie, our new Operations Intern!
After graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in law, Mollie spent the last two years travelling and working in Australia. Mollie’s overarching fields of interest include fashion and interior design, politics focused on women’s rights, and outdoorsy activities - particularly when she’s back home in Sweden! Eager to delve into a new and exciting industry, Mollie returned to the UK, and we couldn’t be happier to have her as part of the team!
What is the best part about working for Candy Kittens so far?
The best part about working at Candy Kittens is being part of such a great team and welcome working environment! Everyone at CKHQ is so lovely, and they really make an effort to involve us in fantastic activities outside of work, such as our Wednesday Workout Club and Friday socials!
Describe a day in the life.
I arrive at the office with a coffee in hand and check in with the operations team to touch base on all of the day’s tasks, which include managing customer service insight and stock levels, and assisting with bank reconciliation. At lunchtime, everyone sits down together to catch up, and in the afternoon I get to my research tasks, which are currently focused on sustainable packaging!
What’s your favourite flavour?
Blueberry Bliss, for sure! There aren’t many blueberry flavoured products out there, and this one is a winner.
Which upcoming Candy Kittens event are you most looking forward to?
I’m a total foodie, so I can’t wait to experience Taste of London!
Tell us a fun fact about you.
I am fluent in Swedish!
What’s next for you?
I would love to work in business development or in an operations role for a brand that I feel equally passionate about. As I studied law, I am also keen to explore opportunities within the legal industry - all while maintaining close touch with the Candy Kittens team!
