3 Ways We're Loving Mango!

So incase you haven't heard we launched our NEW flavour on Wednesday, Tropical Mango! And if you haven't heard - why not!?! 

In honour of this launch and welcoming our new flavour to the family. We have decided let you guys know the three ways that we're loving Mango!

1. First and foremost, we're loving our new Tropical Mango sweet (obvs!) Why wouldn't we be? Tropical Mango is quite literally the taste of summer and is guaranteed to transport you back to tropical, sunnier and more idilic times! It will be joining the rest of our vegan range and will no doubt become your new go-to snack this Autumn! It's our new flavour and it's delicious - End. Of. 

2. Secondly, we're loving a DIY Mango and Avocado Face mask. This home-made beauty product helps give the skin extra hydration. As the colder months are officially upon us, it is now more important than ever to ensure you look after your skin and keep it extra hydrated to avoid dried out and chapped skin. 

This DIY mask keeps your skin hydrated and soft! The Mango and Avocado calm sensitive skin and unclog the skin pores. Honey helps in lightening blemishes and scars. An all round natural fix for everyone! 

You Will Need
- 1 ripe mango
- 2 tablespoons mashed avocado
- 2 tablespoons honey
What You Have To Do
- Cut the mango into pieces and then mash them thoroughly.
- Add avocado and honey to this and blend well.
- Spread it evenly on your face and neck. Let it dry.
- Wash it off.

 

3. Finally, we're loving this 'Eat, Drink, Live Well' Chocolate Mango smoothie (weird sounding I know)! We had a big work social last night, and all definitely needed this pick me up this morning! 

Surprisingly, this chocolatey smoothie has been designed to counteract hangover symptoms. This is a supposedly energising and feel-good drink, packed full of nutrients. The bananas and cacao help to boost serotonin levels, lifting spirits and mood, plus you’ll be getting a load of antioxidants and potassium.

Apparently the more alcohol you drink, the more potassium is lost and coconut water is another good source of potassium and electrolytes.

Another key consideration when dealing with hangovers are blood sugar imbalances. Contrary to popular belief, mangoes are one of the few tropical fruits that don’t shoot your blood sugar levels sky high. They’re also a fantastic source of the plant form of vitamin A – important for a healthy immune system (plus they're delicious)!

Ingredients (serves 2)
½ mango, chopped
1 small banana
2 tsp coconut oil
2 tsp natural yoghurt
150 ml coconut water
1 tsp cacao (or cocoa)
Method: Add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz thoroughly.
